To enable collector/classic/antique car and truck enthusiasts by improving their knowledge of the process of finding, evaluating, purchasing, transporting and enjoying these magnificent machines.
When I was fresh out of high school, I studied to be a high school English teacher. That is what I wanted to be way back then.Sometime in the early stages of my career building my oldest brother decided to entice me with a change in career to information processing. That is what he was doing and thought it could be very rewarding for me.Well I took the bait and soon became a computer operator…thus dropping out of school. Through the years I progressed to computer programmer, programmer analyst, information specialist and data center manager. Some years ago, I had the opportunity to take on disaster recovery planning for a major U.S. company. This is something most people glaze over when you try to explain what that really is. I figured out the easiest way to explain was…thinking of a huge corporate, nationwide company that just lost all its home offices due to a tornado or whatever…what does the company do. My job was to make sure the company recovers and stays viable…many go out of business when this happens. I did this for about 17 years.
A great deal of my work involved helping many departments within (2 companies) prepare and write plans for all potential disasters. In a sense my original desire to be a high school English teacher carried through my entire career.
Now retired from the regular workforce…I have ventured into helping collector, classic and antique car and truck enthusiasts with information they desire and can use in their quest for a vehicle of this type. I am doing this through writing and answering questions. This site is a work in progress and will constantly be updated. So keep coming back and learn
